KSH: The number of employees increased in March
In March, the average monthly number of employees aged 15-74 was 4,616,000, which is 41,000 more than a year before and 66,000 more than in the previous month, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
The employment rate for 15-64 year olds was 72.5 percent, up 0.7 percentage points from February and 1.2 percentage points from March last year.
In the first three months of the year, the average number of employees was 4,568,000, down 39,000 from the same period of last year. (MTI)
