KSH: foreign demand increased while domestic demand fell at commercial accommodations in May
In May, 386 thousand foreign tourists spent 1.064 million guest nights in commercial accommodations, while 333 thousand domestic guests spent 710 thousand guest nights.
In May, 8.8 percent more foreign tourists guests spent 11 percent more guest nights in commercial accommodations, compared to the same month of the last year, while the number of domestic guests decreased by 4.4 percent, and the number of guest nights of the domestic guests decreased by 1.8 percent compared to May last year – announced the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Wednesday.
