KSH: slight increase occurred in the euro value of exports and imports in May
In May, exports and imports calculated in the euro increased by almost the same extent, by 1.7, and 1.8 percent, compared to a year earlier – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Monday on the basis of the preliminary datas.
In the previous three months, the exports calculated in euros were below the previous year’s, while imports did not increase for two months. Exports declined by 1.2 percent in February, 3.1 in March and by 4.0 percent in April, while imports declined by 0.6 in March and 3.5 percent in April. (MTI)
