KSH: retail sales rose by 4.4 percent in May
The volume of retail sales in May 2015 increased by 4.4 percent, according to the raw data, while calendar effect adjusted the growth was 5.4 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year.
This is 0.2 percentage points higher than the first estimate – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday on the basis of the second estimate.
The calendar effect adjusted volume of retail trade in May 2015 increased by 1.4 percent in the food retail, in the non-food retail by 9.9 percent, in fuel retail by 5.6 percent, compared to the same period last year. (MTI)
