In May, the turnover of hotels decreased by 2.4 percent
In May, foreign guests spent 1.6 percent fewer guest nights in commercial accommodations in Hungary, while the number of nights spent by domestic residents decreased by 3.4 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
According to seasonally and calendar-adjusted data, the number of foreign visitors decreased by 1.0 and domestic by 0.5 percent.
The price income of commercial accommodation amounted to 50 billion HUF, which was 8.8 percent higher than in May last year. Accommodation revenue increased by 9.1 percent to 30 billion HUF. (MTI)
