KSH: average earnings rose by 1.5 percent in May
The average earnings increased by 1.5 percent in May, compared to a year before. Without counting the wage of public workers, the increase was 4 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday. In April the annual increase in earnings was 3.6 and 2.6 percent.
The earnings in the first five months rose by 3.5 percent.Without counting the wage of public workers, the increase was 3.1 percent.
The average monthly gross earnings amounted to 242,700 HUF in May. The, average gross monthly income on a national economy level was 255,000 HUF. (MTI)
