KSH: the growth in retail sales slowed in May
The volume of retail sales increased by 4.9 percent in May, compared with a year before, according to the raw and working day adjusted datas – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
According to the first estimate of the the Central Statistics Office (KSH) published on 3 July the increase was 5.1 percent. In April the annual rate of growth of retail sales was significantly higher; 6.3 percent.
In the first five months, the calendary effect-adjusted retail sales volume’s increase was 6.5, percent. By measuring in the previous sampling methodology, the increase was 4.1 percent, compared to the same period of the last year. (MTI)
