KSH: the decline in agricultural producer prices is slowing
Agricultural producer prices in August were 3.3 percent lower than a year earlier, due to the 4.9 percent decline in the price of plant products, and the 0.8 percent decrease in the price of live animals and animal products – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Monday.
In July, purchase prices declined by 5.1 percent , after the price of plant products fell by 8.4 percent in an annual comparison, and the price of slaughtered animals and animal products showed a 0.4 percent increase. (MTI)
