KSH: last year’s export surplus reached almost 10 billion euros
In December, exports were 7.6 percent, while imports were 9.3 percent higher than a year before, the monthly export surplus was 579 million euros, 58 million less than a year ago.
Last year, the trade balance surplus was 9.935 billion euros, 1.340 billion more than in the previous year. The value of exports in euros increased by 2.9 percent and the value of imports rose 1.5 percent after the 7.0 and 4.6 percent rise of last year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced its second estimate on Friday.
