Growing pigs stoks
After three years of decline, the number of Hungarian pigs increased slightly in the past six months – the Central Statistical Office’s recent analysis shows.
On 1 December 2012, 2 million 956 thousand animals were registered 43 thousand more than in June 2012, but 69 thousand less than a year before. (The number of pigs ten years ago was more than five million, it is under three million since June 2012.) The Government after accepted the Fidesz-pig strategy last year intends to double the pig stocks in four years. (by our colleague)
