KSH: the turnover of commercial accommodations increased by nine percent
In February, the number of foreign guests increased by 6.4, the number of guest nights they spent grew by 7.4 percent, while the number of domestic guests increased by 10.4, and the number of their guest nights increased by 10.7 percent. Overall, 8.5 percent more guests spent 9.0 percent more guest nights – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
The occupancy rate of hotels increased by 3.1 percentage points to 50.9 percent.
The current gross revenues of hotels increased by 11.9 percent to 25.9 billion HUF, including accommodation revenue by 11.2 percent to 13.7 billion HUF, hospitality revenue increased by 24.8 percent to 6.6 billion HUF. (MTI)
