KSH: favorable retail sales datas in the second estimate
The volume of retail sales increased by higher extent than expected; by 4.1 percent in June, according to calendar-adjusted and raw datas, compared to the previous year – the Central Statistical Office revealed in its second estimate. According to the comparable datas, the increase was 1.6 percent.
Both datas are better than the first estimate, issued on August 5, when KSH estimated a 3.8, percent annual retail sales growth and 1.3 percent growth for June.
According to comparable datas, in the first half of the year, retail sales grew by 3.8, according to the calendar adjusted datay, rose by 3.7 percent. (MTI)
