KSH: export surplus was over 1 billion euros in June
In June, the value of exports in euro was 9.1 percent, the value of imports was 8.0 percent more than a year before, the surplus of foreign trade turnover was 1.024 billion euros, 165 million euros more than last year, according to a second estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) .
In the first estimate released on 9 August, the KSH reported 1.071 million euros in June, which is an increase of 47 million euros.
In the first half of the year, exports increased by 4.8 percent and imports rose by 6.2 percent compared to the same period last year, while export surplus decreased by 398 million euros and amounted to 4.220 billion euros. (MTI)
