KSH: agricultural producer prices fell by 6.2 percent in June
In June, crop products were 3.6 percent cheaper, while live animals and animal products were 10.4 percent cheaper, and the agricultural producer prices were 6.2 percent lower than a year before – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
The annual decline of agricultural producer prices lasts since July 2013.
In June, the price of cereals decreased by 13.4, the price of vegetables declined by 2.1 percent, while the price of potatoes increased by 30 percent, due to the appearance of new potato market – according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). (MTI)
