KSH: retail sales increased by 5.8 percent in June
According to the raw data, the volume of retail trade increased by 6.2 percent in June and by 5.8 percent, adjusted for calendar effects, compared to the same period of the previous year, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
In the second quarter, both raw and adjusted data saw a 7.2 percent increase in sales after a 3.2 percent decline in the first quarter. In the first half of this year, retail sales at constant prices were 2.0 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year, according to both raw and calendar-adjusted. (MTI)
