Guest traffic rose by 3.8 percent in June at accommodations
Guest traffic increased by 3.8 percent in June at accommodations, compared to the same period of the last year – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
The foreign visitors spent 2.9 more guest nights, while domestic guest spent 4.7 percent more guest nights at commercial accommodations than in June last year. The gross revenue – calculated on current prices – increased by 11.5 percent.
The foreign tourists spent 1.097 million guest nights at commercial accommodations. Their number increased by 4.2 percent, while the number of guest nights they spent increased by 2.9 percent, compared to the same period of 2012. (MTI)
