KSH: accommodation turnover increased by 8.2 percent in July
In July, the number of guest nights spent by foreign visitors increased by 6.2 percent, while the number of domestic guest nights increased by 9.8 percent from a year earlier. Thus, the total turnover exceeded last July’s data by 8.2 percent, after a 1.5 percent increase in June – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) told.
The total gross sales of commercial accommodation increased by 9.6 percent and reached 47.7 billion HUF. Accomodiation revenue increased by 11.5 percent to 30.8 billion HUF. Within this, hospitality revenue increased by 4.2 percent to 7.9 billion HUF, while other revenues rose by 8.0 percent to 8.9 billion HUF. (MTI)
