KSH: guest traffic at accommodation establishments rose by 6.2 percent in July
In July, 1.137 million guests spent 6.2 percent more overnight stays in commercial accommodations than a year earlier. The number of nights spent by foreigners increased by 4.7, percent, while the number of nights spent by spent by domestic guest rose by 7.6 percent – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) reported on Monday.
In July, 517 thousand foreign tourists spent 1.5 million guest nights in the domestic commercial accommodations. The number of German guests stagnated, while the number of guests coming from Austria slightly decreased by 0.5 percent. The number of nights spent by tourists from Poland and the Netherlands increased significantly increased by 12.8 and 11.3 percent. (MTI)
