KSH: Agricultural producer prices fell 5.1 percent in July
In 2014, the agricultural producer prices declined by 5.1 percent, compared to the same period of 2013- the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Friday.
The price of plant products was 8.4 percent lower, while the price of live animals and animal products was 0.4 percent higher than a year ago.
The price of cereals was 5.6 percent less in July 2014 than a year earlier. Prices fell after the harvest of wheat, but the price was above the level of the previous year with 4.6 percent. THe KSH measured a 10 percent drop in prices in case of corn. (MTI)
