KSH: the rise in agricultural producer prices continued to slow in January
In January, agricultural producer prices rose 2.1 percent, compared to the previous year, due to a 2.6 percent increase in plant products prices and the 1.4 percent increase in the price of the live animals and animal products, the Central Statistical Office announced on Tuesday.
The pace of price increases continued to slow, while in December prices were 5.1 percent higher than a year before. The prices of plant products were 6.0 percent, while the price of live animals and animal products by 3.8 percent more than at the end of 2016. (MTI)
