KSH: the guest traffic of commercial accommodations in January rose by 4.9 percent
In January, 9.8 percent more foreign tourists spent 8.3 percent more overnight stays in commercial accommodation than the year before. The number of domestic guests increased by 3.1, their guest nights increased by 1.4 percent – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday). The number of guests increased by 6.2, the number of guest nights increased by 4.9 percent.
In January, foreign visitors spent 526 thousands nights at commercial accommodations. The most important sending countries countries are: United Kingdom (49.2 percent), Italy(17.8 percent), Austria (11.7 percent), Russia (8.4 percent) and Germany (5.2 percent). (MTI)
