KSH: gross earnings were 223,800 HUF in January
In January this year, the gross average wages on national economy level increased by 2.5 percent. Average net earnings calculated without family allowances were 3.9 percent higher than a year earlier – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
The average gross wage of the full-time employees was 223,822 HUF in January. Workers of enterprises earned an average of 230,743 HUF, while workers of the public sector – not in the scope of public employment – earned 211,693 HUF. The average salary of public employment workers was 82,097 HUF. (MTI)
