KSH: agri producer prices rose by 18.1 percent in January
In January, the agricultural producer prices rose by 18.1 percent, compared to the same period of last year – the Central Statistics Office announced on Wednesday. The data corresponds to the rate of price increase in December.
The price of live animals and animal products increased by 7.4 percent, after the 4.5 percent increase of the previous month, while the increase in the price of plant products is much higher, 24.2 percent. Slower than the 26.1 percent rate in December. (MTI)
