KSH: The number of guest traffic at accommodations increased by 10.4 percent in January
In January, tourism grew by 10.4 percent. The number of nights spent by foreign guests increased by 7.6, while the number of domestic guest nights increased by 13.5 percent, compared to the year before.
Total gross sales of commercial accommodations at current prices increased by 11.4 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
In January, a total of 1,533 million guest nights were registered in hotels. The foreign guests spent 789 thousand, the domestic guests spent 744 thousand nights at the commercial accommodations. (MTI)
