KSH January is not a peak season for Hungarian accommodations
In January, foreign guests spent 1.2 percent less, and domestic guests 0.1 percent less guest nights at commercial accommodation establishments than a year before – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
The number of foreign guests was close to 310,000, who spent 780,000 guest nights. The number of guests increased by 1.1 percent. The number of domestic guests increased by 0.7 percent and approached 338,000, with 743,000 guest nights spent. Along with foreigners and domestic guests, a total of 1,523 million guest nights were spent in Hungarian accommodations, which was 0.7 percent lower than in January last year. (MTI)
