KSH: Average net earnings increased by 4.2 percent in January-March
In January to March 2013, the average gross earnings of full-time employees amounted to 225 600 HUF. It was 2.9 percent higher compared to the same period of last year. Average net income calculated without taking the family allowances into account was 147 800 HUF, increasing by 4.2 percent over a year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
On a National level, the average gross income in March was 229 691 HUF, after the 222 503 HUF of February and the 224 504 HUF of January.
Average earnings in the private sector grew by 2.5 percent in the January-March period, while the employees' gross average earning at companies was 234 700 HUF. (MTI)
