KSH: the export surplus in the first quarter is above three billion euros
In the first four months of the year, teh trade surplus was 3.020 billion euros, 552 million more than in the same period of last year. In January-April, exports increased by 8.0 and imports rose by 6.6 percent, calculated in euros – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Monday.
In the first four months of the year, the value of exports was 29.959 billion euros (9201 billion HUF) and the value of imports was 26.938 billion euros (8273 billion HUF).
In April, the euro-denominated value of exports grew by 8.9 and the euro-denominated value of imports rose by 9.3 percent, compared to a year before. The 534 million euros value of the export surplus in April 2015 was 21 million euros higher than in April 2014. (MTI)
