KSH: net earnings increased by three and a half percent
In the first three months of 2011, gross average earnings increased by 1.5 percent, while net earnings, without taking the family allowances into account increased by 3.5 percent compared to a year earlier. The average gross wage of full-time workers is 210 thousand HUF – shows the Interim Report of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
At enterprises, employing 5 or more employees 1 million 829 thousand person worked in January-March 2011, 2.8 percent more than a year earlier. The number of employees in the public sector is 712 thousand, 4.6 percent less, compared to a year earlier, because of the impact of the transition in the public employment system.
