KSH: The number of cattle increased further

The increase in the numbers of cattle continued further in the second half of last year, so their number has exceeded the datas of ten years ago . The number of pigs and sheep increased modestly – the Central Statistics Office announced on Tuesday (KSH).

The number of cattle on 1 December 203 was 772 thousand, 12 thousand more than a year ago. Since July 2013 their number increased by six thousand, and since December 2003 by 33 thousand.

The number of pigs was 2,935 million on 1 December 2013, 32 thousand more than in June last year, but 54 thousand less than in December 2012. (MTI)
