KSH: investments continued to decline
In this year's second quarter, the volume of national economy investments fell by 5.9 percent compared to the same period of last year – announced the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday. Compared to the previous quarter, the volume of investments decreased by 2.2 percent decrease – the seasonally and working day adjusted datas show.
According to the communication, the manufacturing industrial investments that strongly increased last year, decreased by 3.1 percent in the second quarter, so the industry cannot able to compensate the drop of the national economy. Construction investments are 8.3 percent below the level of the previous year. (MTI)
