KSH: turnover of accommodations continued to increase

Guest traffic remained favorable in Hungary in February. Overall, turnover of the commercial accommodation grew by 6.5 percent – told the Central Statistical Office (KSH) to MTI on Wednesday.

The average hotel room occupancy was 34 percent, the five-star hotels reached a 44, the four-star hotels achieved a 40 percent occupancy rate. The utilizationof spa hotels was also above average, 45 percent. The overall hotel occupancy was 1.7 percentage points below the previous year’s. (MTI)
