KSH: a double-digit growth was registered in tourism in February
Foreign tourists spent 12.7 percent more guest nights at commercial accommodations in February than a year before, while domestic tourists spent 10.6 percent more guest nights. The number of guest nights increased by 11.6 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Monday.
In February, 11.3 percent more 273 thousand foreign guests spent 671 thousand nights in commercial accommodations. The number of foreign tourist nights increased in all nine tourism regions.
The number of guest nights from the major source countries – Germany, the United Kingdom and Austria increased by 5.4, 9.6 and 10 percent. (MTI)
