KSH: consumer prices rose by 8.3 percent in February
In February, consumer prices were on average 8.3 percent higher than a year earlier. Inflation was last so high in August 2007, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Wednesday.

Prices have risen above 8 percent on an annual basis
Consumer prices rose an average of 1.1 percent in one month.
Core inflation was 8.1 percent last month.
Compared to January, annual inflation was 0.4 percentage points higher and core inflation 0.7 percentage points higher. (MTI)
