KSH: the census of orchards will begin on 14 February
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) carries out a fruit plantation census between 14 and April 16 February – Tóth Péter, Adviser to the Agricultural Statistical Department of the Central Statistical Office announced at a press conference in Budapest.
The survey includes, among other things, the storage capacity of farms, how to harvest crops, plans of the farmers for fruit planting, but the survey will also contain general questions about farmers’ age, gender, school qualifications, producer and sales relationships – he added. (MTI)
