KSH: the customer traffic of accommodation continued to increase in December

In December, the positive trend of customer traffic continued. Last year, the customer traffic of hotels representing three-quarters of the guest traffic improved every month – except August – in which the four star hotels and spas played a decisive role.

Overall, in 2011 – due to the sluggish domestic demand – the commercial accommodations recorded a slight decline – announced the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Tuesday.

Last December, 20.3 percent more foreign guest spent 20.9 percent more guest nights at the commercial accommodations than a year earlier. The number of domestic visitors increased by 2.6, the number of guest nights by 4.5 percent – reports MTI.
