KSH: 4 and a half million people had a job in December again
The average monthly headcount was 4,500,000 in December last year, 4,000 more than in the previous month and 14,000 less than a year before – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
The employment rate of those aged 15-64 was 70.4 percent, which was 0.2 percentage points lower than in November and 0.2 percentage points higher than in December of the previous year.
