KSH: domestic tourism grew by almost 8 percent in September
In September, the number of nights spent by domestic guests grew by 7.9 percent in commercial accommodation and the number of nights spent by foreign guests fell by 0.5 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.
Compared to the same period of last year, 7.7 percent more, 545 thousand domestic guests spent 1 million 176 thousand nights at commercial accommodations. The number of guest nights increased in each type of accommodations and in each tourist regions. In the most popular region, Lake Balaton 10 percent more guest nights were registered. (MTI)
