KSH: Two-thirds of Internet subscribers are mobile internet subscribers

The number of mobile phone subscriptions at the end of last year increased by 29 thousand to 11.865 million, in the fourth quarter and was 69 thousand more than in the previous year.

The number of Internet subscriptions at the end of last year amounted to 8.118 million, which is 808 thousand and 11.1 percent more than it was a year ago. The mobile Internet subscriptions increased at a higher pace: in one year increased by 14.1 percent to 5.428 million, which is 66.9 percent of all Internet subscriptions – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced.
