Exports grew stronger than imports
In May this year, a surplus of 678 million euros was recorded for product and foreign trade, 285 million euros more than in May of the previous year, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced its first estimate on Tuesday.
According to the information, in May the value of exports in euro increased by 4.5 percent and imports by 2.6 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year.
In May, exports amounted to 9.4 billion euros (3,056 billion HUF) and imports to 8.7 billion euros (2,832 billion HUF). (MTI)
