KSH: the volume of retail sales rose in August
According to the calendar adjusted data, the volume of retail trade rose by 1.4 percent in August, compared to the previous year. It is 0.1 percent less than the flash estimate published on 3 October – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Friday.
According to the unadjusted datas, growth was 0.9 percent, while the flash estimation previously projected a 1.0 percent growth.
In food retail, sales volume increased by 1.2 percent, while in fuel retail rose by 1.6 percent, compared to the previous year, which corresponds to the flash estimation that was published on 3 October. (MTI)
