KSH: foreign trade turnover in August increased significantly
In August, the value of exports increased by 12.5 percent in euros, while imports increased by 10.8 percent, compared to last year, after the 5.4 and 6.4 percent decline of July – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.
The August exports value reached 7.240 billion euros (2253 billion HUF) and imports reached 6.638 billion euros (2067 billion HUF). The export surplus increased by 157 million euros to 601 million euros, compared to last August. This year three more working days were in August than last year. (MTI)
