KSH: August inflation remains negative
In August, consumer prices were 0.1 percent lower than a year earlier, and compared with July decreased by an average of 0.4 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Thursday.
In August, fuel prices fell significantly, by 11.4 percent compared with a year earlier. The price of alcoholic beverages (1,9 percent), tobacco products (3.8 percent) and services (1.1 percent) increased at highest rate. (MTI)
