KSH: the rise in earnings accelerated in August
According to the most recent data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) the increase in earnings accelerated in August.
Average gross earnings increased by 6.9 percent in August, while net earnings- due to the 1 percentage point reduction in the rate of personal income tax – were 8.5 percent higher compared to the same month of the previous year. So in August, the increase in earnings accelerated, because in the previous month, the pace of annual growth was 5.1 and 6.7 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
