Central Statistical Office: retail sales rose 5.8 percent in August
The volume of retail sales in August, according to the raw data increased by 5.8 percent, calendary effect adjusted rose by 4.3 percent compared to the same period of last year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
In January-August, the volume of turnover – also according to the calendar adjusted data – increased by 4.9 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year. On a yearly basis retail sales in August has increased without interruption for 38 months. (MTI)
