KSH: food prices increased below, alcoholic beverages above the average
Consumer prices in June rose by 0.1 percent, compared to the datas of the previous month and were 5.6 percent above the levels of a year ago – announced the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Wednesday.
According to the flash report, the price of tobacco products and services increased in June but fuel, consumer durables and food prices decreased.
Analysts in London expect a stagnant or slightly higher inflation on a monthly basis and 5.3 to 5.5 percent annual inflation. (MTI)
