KSH: exports increased again in April
The euro-denominated value of exports rose by 5.2 percent in April after the decline of March, however the value of imports was 2.2 percent lower than a year before, after the 2.7 percent decline of the previous month – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) anoounced its the second estimate on Thursday.
The data shows a higher export growth and import decrease, compared to the first estimate released earlier this month, when a 5.1, and 1.9 percent was forecasted.
The export surplus became 30 million euros higher 989 million euros, which is 558 million euros more than in last year’s April. (MTI)
