According to the Informations of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) the decline was 0.7 percent in the first four months of the year, compared to the same period of last year.
The sales volume of food and food related retail stores fell by 1.8 percent in April, but in the first four months of 2012 sales were 0.8 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year.
The non-food retail sales volume fell by 3.6 percent in April, while between January-April sales fell by 0.9 percent. (MTI)
