KSH: tourism stagnated due to the high base in April
In April, 0.8 percent more foreign visitors spent 2.2 percent less guest nights in hotels in Hungary, while the number of domestic guests increased by 0.3 percent and the number of nights spent by them increased by 0.9 percent, compared to the high base of one year earlier.
The total number of guests grew by 1.7 percent, and the number of guest nights dropped by 0.8 percent compared to April last year, when, due to Easter the annual increase was 25.3 percent – the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported. (MTI)
