KSH: 126 thousand more people were working in April-June

The number of employees in April-May-June exceeded 4 million 201 thousand, 126 thousand more, compared with the same period of a year ago – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.

Among the 15-64 year olds, the employment rate has improved by 2.5 percentage points and reached 63.8 percent.

The male employment rate increased by 3.3 percent, and amounted to 2 million 261 thousand. The number of employed women aged 15-64 years, increased by 2.7 percent to 1 million 906 thousand. (MTI)
