KSH: the number of guests and guest nights also increased in the first half of the year at the Lake Balaton

At the commercial accommodations of the lake, 516 thousand guests spent one million 570 thousand nights this year in the first half of the year. So compared to the 2013 January-June period, a total of 32 thousand more people booked rooms near the lake, while the number of overnight stays increased by 73 thousand – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published.

According to the satas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), the traffic datas showed a decline in March and May only, that was caused by the declining number of foreign visitors. However, the domestic arrivals and the number of guest nights of domestic guests were much higher in almost every month, compared to a year earlier. (MTI)
